Description
1) Basic requirements:
- Classroom/meeting room with projector & screen/TV.
- Basic PPE coverage for operators to be worn as per individual workplace requirements.
- Minimum 1 truck required for class size of 4, 2 trucks required for class size 5 or more.
2) Topics covered:
a. Theory:
- Introduction to MHE.
- Benefits of training.
- WSH & injury reports.
- Load chart & data plate.
- Stability of truck.
- Do's & don'ts of operation.
- Daily checks & maintenance.
- E-knowledge test.
b. Practical:
- 360 degrees MHE check orientation.
- Orientation to buttons & controls.
- Reference checking procedures.
- Driving practice.
- Aisle alignment.
- Load handling.
- Practical driving assessment.
3) Terms & conditions of training:
- Training will be conducted in English language only and on weekdays, Monday to Friday.
- Training attire will be according to customer site PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) requirements.
- To ensure the best delivery of training, any additional participants more than total of 8 is not allowed.
- In the event that the number of participants fall below the minimum requirement, Jungheinrich Singapore reserve the rights to charge the minimum of 5 participants to the customer.
- If the trainer is unable to conduct the scheduled training due to unforeseen circumstances, the training will be rescheduled and mutually agreed by both parties to the next available slot.
- A cancellation charge of $300.00 will be imposed upon postpone/cancellation notice less than 5 working days prior to the training date.
- Price quoted is subjected to 9% GST.
4) Other important information:
- An e-certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
- The certification has a validity of 2 years from the date of completion.
- It is recommended that the operators attend a refresher course every 2 years.
- This is not a Train-The-Trainer certification and does not allow the certified operator to perform coaching in any form to another person.
